Blending in

It's been a while since I last updated my blog, guess no one will read them either..so... Maybe it's just me talking to myself, :/.

Anyway, throughout the years ever since I was born, I met different kind of people and have been in different kind of situations. I used to think some certain people will be my best friends forever so-called "BFF", I really did. But ever since I stepped into my secondary school life, and it hits me, every single people I knew changed drastically and dramatically. Maybe it's the environment and the so-called "maturity" caused the change? :/ I wasn't really used to it at first, but to blend in the society and everything, I changed, I had to. I'm not sure that's a bad thing or not, but what I know is I'm surely not the one who I used to be. Some people chose to blend in by buying the fancy bags, fancy shoes, fancy shirts and everything that starts with the word "fancy". Yeah, it feels good owning something that draws other's attention for awhile, but the attention won't last long, as an example, you bought a "fancy" car, right, you'll get everyone's attention, but what will happen after a month? Mhm, everyone will get used to it that you've a "fancy" car. OK, let's stretch the time a little further, now, how's it gonna be like after a year? No one will already give a damn about your car, no more, someone will even have already bought a fancier car than yours. So what're you gonna do now? Buy another fancier car? Can you afford that? Congratulations, if you can. Go buy a fancier one then. But how about the one who cannot afford? All of this blending-in thing is getting us crazy without you realizing that's already happening on yourself.

It's really weird, you know, how can oneself lose his/her personality and uniqueness because just want to be the one that defined as "normal", not even I'm excepted. But, I guess, it's never too late to realize it and make a change.

Look, you were not designed to be forced. You'll breath after your own fashion, and live with your own decision. You're the only you, god made you and you gotta learn to break the mold.
